Kennedy, who is now part of Bawumia’s campaign team disclosed that the inflation in Ghana under the Akufo Addo-Bawumia administration is so normal.

To prove things are normal under the current government, Kennedy Agyapong said “I used to buy a shaving blade for 23 dollars. Last Saturday when I traveled abroad and I wanted to buy the same blade stick, I bought it for $34.99 “.

He went on to ask Ghanaians to compare Ghana to Nigerian and Turkey in terms of inflation and they will have no option but to thank God for being in Ghana.

“Look at Nigeria, the inflation in Nigeria is 33.6 percent. Turkey that you women go and buy goods from, you will bear me out that the prices of goods in Turkey have skyrocketed to a problematic level. This is because inflation in Turkey as I speak to you now has risen to 69.6”, he added.

He, however, begged the market women to take things cool, claiming things are going to be better under the current government, and the best should they vote for Vice President, Bawumia.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong has faced backlash from his fans and Ghanaians who supported him during the NPP primaries which came off not long ago.

According to them, they do not understand why the politician would become a member of Bawumia’s team after he had made them hate the vice president and NPP, at large.
