King Paluta Confirms Bawumia Gave Him Money After Their Meeting

Fast-rising Ghanaian musician, King Paluta has taken a swipe at journalists and Ghanaians, saying that nobody can tell him what to do and what not to do.

To anyone at sea, the vice president who doubles as the flagbearer for the NPP, Dr. Bawumia was in the Ashanti Region last week to campaign ahead of the December 7 general elections.

During his stay in the Ashanti Region, Kumasi to be precise, the vice president linked up with the “Aseda” hitmaker for reasons best known to the duo and close associates.

In a video that flew across social media platforms, King Paluta was seen with the vice president, Chairman Wontumi, Adwoa Sarfo, and Kennedy Agyapong among other NPP bigwigs.

In the video, the top personalities were seen singing King Paluta’s song, “Aseda” word for word happily as though they were those who wrote the song.

Following the viral video, angry netizens took King Paluta to the cleaners for involving himself in politics even though man is a political animal.

Many netizens stated that it was an unwise decision for the fast-growing musician to meet the vice president and his entourage.

Speaking on the issue for the very first time, King Paluta fired back at social media users and presenters in Ghana.

According to King Paluta in an interview on UTV sighted by, he was called by the vice president for a meeting, and just like anyone else, he decided to meet the vice president.

King Paluta also disclosed that he went in a car, hence, he spent money on fuel so there was no way the vice president would not give him money.
