Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has struck a chord with fans after candidly sharing her frustrations over the current economic hardship in Nigeria.
Taking to her Instagram story, the award-winning singer revealed that, like many others, she is also feeling the pinch.
“Because even me sef, the economy don show me sege. I’m a single mother abeg. I dey hustle night and day. May God bless us all,” Tiwa wrote.
Her comment came while reposting a humorous skit by a content creator who filmed various bank branches and jokingly encouraged viewers to seek loans from each one.
Often referred to as the “Queen of Afrobeats,” Tiwa Savage is one of Africa’s most decorated female artistes.
