Daddy Lumba’s family have responded to the suit from Akosua Serwah, the legitimate wife of the late musician, through their lawyers.
In a statement that has been released, the family of Daddy Lumba have argued that Akosua Serwaah had already divorced the late musician as far back in 2018 when she returned ‘drinks’ to Lumba after refusing to move to Ghana to take care of the musician when he got sick 15 years ago and needed her to come take care of him.
This statement from the family of Lumba comes after Akosua Serwaa sued the family head of the late musician and Odo Broni praying to the court so she’s recognised as the only legal wife of Lumba so she can perform the widowhood rites for her husband and also be involved in the planning of the funeral.
In her suit, she maintained that she was still legally married to Daddy Lumba under the ordinance in Germany as Lumba was also a German citizen but the family of Lumba have maintained that it is Priscilla Oforo aka Odo Broni whom they know as the wife of the musician and she’s being with him for the last 15 years and had 6 children with him.
