Edem has shared some sad news in regards to former musician Agbeko who recently asked for help from his fellow musicians in an interview.
Agbeko famous for his hit single ‘Wototome’ in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm was seen breaking down in tears as he spoke about how his drug addiction had destroyed his life and struggling to get by.
Edem was touched by that interview and made every effort to get in touch with him, and decided to help him but unfortunately, Agbeko has refused to get into a rehab centre so he can get clean.
It seems, like he’s just interested in being handed money so he can get more drugs than getting treatment, in my opinion.
Edem in a tweet on X disclosed how he had spent the whole day with Agbeko by taking him to a saloon so he can get a clean cut, and then to lunch and then made the last stop at Pantang hospital only for Abgeko to say no to rehab even after all the professional counselling.
His tweet read; “It’s with deep disappointment that I want to inform all well wishers and Family,that the entire team followed up on Agbeko and we did everything possible to get him on a new path.. Earlier today I spent the whole day with him from salon to Eatery..We spent extra four hours into the evening at Pantang health facility where he refused entering into a rehabilitation program.Even with Professional effort and Guidance. We are family and legally we can’t force him into rehab. Thanks to every one who assisted and Thanks to team VRMG”
