Daddy Lumba’s Maternal Uncle, Wofa Yaw Poku, says he won’t attend his late nephew’s funeral if it is organised on the 13th December.
He is also the second plaintiff in a new suit seeking to get an injunction to stop the release of DL’s body for the final funeral rites.
If a recent interview, he’s bemoaned how Lumba’s Abusuapanyin Kofi Owusu aka Tupac has denied them access to viewing DL’s body at the morgue since his death.
DL is at Transitions and per protocol only authorised persons would be allowed to pay him a visit as it’s usually done but before any person, whether friend of family can gain such access, they must get authorization from persons who are on Transition’s official list of approved person and one of such persons is the family head of Lumba.
Wofa K has expressed his frustration over Kofi Owusu’s tactics and has sworn not to attend the funeral of Lumba scheduled to happen on the 13th December 2025 if their injunction attempt from the court fails.
