In videos circulating online, Apostle Daniel JY Adjei is seen been interrogated by some muslims and also getting sl@pped by one man identified as Baba Sule who surrounded him, raising questions about the safety of the Apostle and also the Police’s integrity.
The Police had issued a statement yesterday, Wednesday, 12th August, 2026 that it had also arr+sted Apostle for making derogatory and off+nsive comments about Prophet Mohammed.
Hour later, videos of him being interrogated while in handcuffs by some men who appear to be Muslims have emerged on Social media, with one of them forcing him to apologise, which he refused and even called him foolish.
In another video as shared by Ghbase News on our blog, a man lands a slap on his face, while he was in police handcuffs, leaving the defenceless pastor standing and even unable to touch his face to ease the pain.
Since that video emerged, several Ghanaians have been asking how such persons were allowed to get close to him and who gave such order, given that the police itself had stated that they would ensure that he is taken through the law.
Already, there have been questions about whether what he said, which is blasphemy, is even a crime under the laws of Ghana and why he has to be arrested by the police since he didn’t ask any Christian to attack any Muslim, unlike Masud who had asked Muslims to ‘B++ He++d’ anyone who disrespects the Holy Prophet.

So what did Apostle Daniel Say that got Him Arrested?
Apostle Daniel JY Adjei had questioned why Muslims get angry anytime references from the Quran about the things Prophet Mohammed did during his time is mentioned by other people who are not Muslims.
He mentioned one instance in the Quran where Prophet Mohammed was said to have married his son’s wife and also the part about when he married a young girl at the age of 6.
What Apostle Daniel forgot to mention is that, the part about the Prophet Mohammed marrying his son’s wife is that, the said son was not his biological son but an adopted one and he had divorced his wife then and was said to be no longer interested in her so there was nothing wrong with the Prophet marrying her considering that, the man was not his own biological son but his adoptive son.
In another video, Daniel Adjei had described the Prophet as a p*nstar, a comment that is also distasteful, and his excuse has been that, other Muslims had called Jesus Christ several derogatory names with a video showing one calling him a theif.
