Afia Schwarzenegger, a close friend of actress Nana Akua Addo, has shared her account of a confrontation between the actress and her husband, Harold, involving allegations of infidelity and a curse.
Speaking in a video, Afia alleged that Harold believed claims reportedly made by Aisha Modi that Nana Akua travelled to Nigeria to engage in affairs.
According to Afia, Harold confronted his wife with an egg and challenged her to invoke a curse if the allegations were false. She claimed Nana Akua accepted the challenge and subsequently cursed him.
Afia said Harold later called her, pleading with her to persuade Nana Akua to reverse the curse because he feared its consequences.
She explained that she contacted Nana Akua and urged her to reconsider, reminding her that Harold was the father of her two daughters. However, the actress allegedly refused and tearfully recounted what had happened.
According to Afia’s account, Nana Akua told her that she had been asleep when Harold allegedly assaulted her before confronting her over claims involving herself and Hajia4Reall.
Afia said Nana Akua maintained that, because Harold had challenged her to invoke the curse, she would not reverse it.
After hearing her friend’s account, Afia said she called Harold back to question his alleged conduct. She also accused him of having relationships with other women and fathering children outside the marriage.
Afia further claimed that Harold told her he sometimes behaved strangely following a period he allegedly spent in prison in London. This was his reported explanation; it does not establish a cause for the alleged behaviour.
She said she nevertheless agreed to discuss the matter with her own husband and make another attempt to persuade Nana Akua to reverse the curse. However, she warned Harold that she would seek police intervention if she heard of another alleged assault.
