The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, has promised to link Ghanaian dancer Afronita with global musician Beyoncé.
This comes after Afronita and her Afrostar Kids Academy performed at the CAF African Schools Football Championship Finals in 2025, which was held at the University of Ghana Stadium.
After their performance, Patrice Motsepe spoke to Afronita on the sidelines, and the female dancer was full of smiles as CAF President shared his thoughts with her. The two stood for a while, possibly for pictures, before he moved on.
In a video on X sighted by Ghbase News, the CAF President walked up to Afronita and complimented her dance moves and revealed that he would connect her to the ‘Single Ladies’ hit maker.
Patrice Motsepe said, “She’s special. She dances so beautifully. I work a lot with Beyoncé’s father. I am going to tell him this one is better.”
Afronita and her Afrostar Kids Academy danced to K’nan’s ‘Waving Flag,’ Beyonce’s ‘Run the World,’ Iyanya’s ‘Kukere’ and other afrobeat songs.
The energy and passion were appreciated by all in the stadium, as most people cheered them as they performed.
