This support comes at a time when some Western powers, particularly France, are reportedly gathering in Ivory Coast to plan what looks like an intervention in Burkina Faso.
Their accusations? That Traoré has been exploiting the country’s gold for personal gain — a claim his supporters fiercely deny.
