In a viral TikTok livestream on May 8, 2025, a woman identified as Pretty Young, a former member of Prophet Ogyaba’s church, came forward to deny swirling rumors that she initiated a romantic relationship with the controversial preacher.
“Some people are saying that I went into Ogyaba’s chat and proposed to him. I am bitter about it because that is not true,” she said, visibly upset during the live broadcast.
“It has been two years since I got to know Ogyaba and I have every chat with him.”
According to her, the claims circulating online suggesting that she lured Prophet Ogyaba into an affair were fabricated. Instead, she alleges the preacher was the one who initiated the romantic interactions.
“I only sent him a message to find out why he would ask his bloggers to spread fake news about me. Because he was the one who proposed to me. Ogyaba initiated the whole romantic thing [affair],” she insisted.
Pretty Young claimed she had met the prophet in person on two occasions. “I have met him twice which he proposed to me, but he didn’t sleep with me,” she stated.
She further alleged that during their first encounter, Prophet Ogyaba gave her GH¢5,000 for transportation, and another GH¢2,000 during their second meeting.
One of the more shocking parts of her testimony was an incident she claimed took place inside the church building.
“He asked me to give him a blow job at his church. I declined the blow job because it was at the church.”
