A young Ghanaian man has garnered widespread admiration for his honesty and integrity after he shared an inspiring story on X about a mistake made by a mobile money vendor. The man revealed that a female vendor accidentally transferred GH¢9,800 into his wallet.
Upon realizing the error, the vendor immediately called the young man, visibly distressed and in tears. She explained her mistake and pleaded for the funds to be returned.
Recognizing her anxiety, the young man reassured her, saying, “Calm down, sister.
I’m allowing cash out right away, you don’t have to cry, madam.” He assured her that he would reverse the transaction without hesitation.
The man then took the time to personally visit the vendor, who expressed her gratitude by praying for him and seeking God’s blessings.
The heartwarming exchange has since gone viral, with the video amassing over 300,000 views and generating positive responses from over 200 viewers.
