Ibrahim Traoré will soon be killed — VeryDarkMan predicts grim fate for Burkina Faso’s president

Popular Nigerian social media personality VeryDarkMan has stirred global conversations with a bold and alarming prediction: President Ibrahim Traoré of Burkina Faso will soon be assassinated.

According to him, the young leader has already survived 18 failed assassination attempts as of April 4, 2025.

In a passionate video shared online, VeryDarkMan claimed that Western powers are systematically working to eliminate Traoré, beginning with a smear campaign designed to make him look like a villain before an eventual takedown.

“When they want to assassinate an African leader, they first paint him black in the eyes of the world,” he said, referencing former Ugandan president Idi Amin, who in a viral clip explained how demonization precedes elimination.

VeryDarkMan cited comments from U.S. General Michael Langley, who recently addressed the U.S. Senate, raising concerns that Traoré was using Burkina Faso’s gold reserves to fortify his regime.

The influencer found this highly suspicious and questioned why the West is suddenly so invested in Burkina Faso’s gold — especially now that the country has expelled France and reclaimed its resources.

“Why didn’t you care when the French were looting their gold?” he asked. “Now that an African leader is using it for his people, he’s suddenly a threat?”

He concluded with a strong appeal to Africans worldwide to defend Traoré against what he describes as a foreign-led character assassination leading to real assassination.
