Early Life and Education
Muhammed completed secondary school at Ghana Senior High School, Tamale, trained as a teacher at Tamale College of Education, and earned master’s degrees from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and the University of Ghana.
Political Journey
He began his political career as Deputy National Coordinator of the National Youth Employment Program under President John Evans Atta Mills in 2009.
Parliamentary Roles
Muhammed served as MP for Nanton (2013–2017) and later won the Tamale Central seat in 2020 and was re-elected in 2024. He was active in parliamentary committees on Public Accounts and Trade and Industry.
