King Promise has been tipped by producer KillBeatz to win the topmost award which is the Artiste of the Year at the forthcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).
KillBeatz says he is of the firm belief that King Promise has distinguished himself in the year under review and has everything it takes to win the award.
According to him, Promise’s consistency, his run of hit songs, and his great 2024 career mean he has no challenger for this award.
KillBeatz also highlighted King Promise’s accomplishment of being the first African musician to completely sell out Singapore’s Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club, demonstrating his appeal on a global scale.
KillBeatz expressed his pride in King Promise and emphasized that he is the most deserving candidate for the award.
He said he has no option but to raise doubts about the credibility of the awards if King Promise does not emerge as the winner.
“This is what we’ve been waiting for! To take Ghanaian music and African music to another level. And I’m so proud of King Promise. There is nobody else. He has to win it! If somebody else wins that award, I don’t know what they’re trying to say.
“King Promise has enthralled the audience in Ghana and beyond with the release of his hit Terminator last year and extended the same energy to 2024 with captivating lyrics, he is planning more shows in Asia and a tour in Canada to promote Ghana’s music industry to where it deserves,” he explained in an interview with JoyNews.
