Lydia Forson has revealed on social media that her first path to fame was through music.
She went ahead to share a throwback picture of their music group which also served as their album cover.
The Perfect Picture actress said the group, named NSPG comprised of were two teenage girls and guys.
Lydia said that they specialised in rapping and singing, she primarily did the backup with the other lady while the two guys were the frontrunners.
In addition, Lydia Forson stated that the group even put out an album and got to play at outdoor events.
She posted:
Once upon a time my brothers and I ( with a friend) started a music group called NSPG. Actually it was my older brothers idea, we were just the backup singer & rapper.
This was supposed to be our first album cover.. Yes we did an album, and even performed at some events and competitions including one for Hush Hush studios. We start no be today. 🤣
Forson’s acting journey began with a brief appearance in Hotel St. James (2005), Run Baby Run (2006), Different Shades of Blue (2007), and a participation in the reality show The Next Movie Star in Nigeria (2007).
Shirley Frimpong-Manso, the CEO of Sparrow Productions, who had collaborated with her in the Ghanaian TV series Different Shades of Blue, reintroduced Forson to the spotlight with the film Scorned.
This lead role earned her a nomination for Best Upcoming Female Actress at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
In 2009, Forson took on a role in the acclaimed film The Perfect Picture by Shirley Frimpong-Manso. She has also appeared in A Sting in a Tale, Phone Swap, Masquerades, Keteke, and Sidechic Gang.
