Rapper and singer Papi, formerly of the defunct 5Five music trio, has declared with confidence that Shatta Wale is the only Ghanaian musician who can fill the famous 02 Arena.
After Medikal’s incredible success at the comparatively smaller 02 Indigo, the debate over which Ghanaian musician can sell out a show at the 02 Arena has heated up.
Fans in Ghana continue to ask when Ghanaian artists will be able to match the success of their Nigerian counterparts, given the accomplishments of Nigerian artists with 02 Arena.
Because of this, Papi told DJ Slim on his Loud Lounge podcast that Shatta Wale has the kind of fan base and song catalogue needed to pack the 02 Arena.

The O2 Arena, also known as the North Greenwich Arena during the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics boasts a capacity of 20,000 and is primarily utilized for live music performances.
Situated at the heart of The O2, it stands as London’s first newly constructed music venue since the Royal Albert Hall in 1871.
Ranking as the UK’s second-largest arena, it holds the title of the world’s most active music venue, surpassing even the Manchester Arena.
Nestled within the dome structure, the arena and its amenities are housed in a separate building.
Over the years, it has played host to a variety of music and sporting events, with ticket sales in 2008 surpassing those of both Madison Square Garden and the Manchester Arena.
