The National Communications Authority, (NCA) has approved Elon Musk’s Starlink Satellite, and so the company will now be able to run its operations in Ghana, a much-needed service given how hard it is to get reliable and super fast internet in Ghana.
NCA in a statement published on April 25, 2024, the NCA disclosed that it has given the company the license to now run operations in the country and in due time, the formal process will be completed so they can commence operations fully in the country.
Starlink promises super fast satellite internet on almost every place on earth and anyone with their device would be able to have access to the internet at super sonic speeds. Given that there are so many places in Ghana where internet service is poor, this development is a major milestone in Ghana’s tech space as it would further help widen the internet users in the country.
